3rd edition of the Small Grants Program for the Conservation of Natural Grasslands in the Southern Cone of America

The most relevant proposals for conservation and research of natural grasslands in the Southern Cone of the Americas will be eligible for funding of up to US$$10,000.

The Small Grants Program for the Conservation of Natural Rangelands is an initiative led by BirdLife Americas that awards seed funds to promote conservation and research projects in the field of pnatural grasslands and its birds in the region.

Following the success of the last two calls for proposals, the secretariat of BirdLife International in the Americas opens the third edition to select the best proposals for conservation and research of natural grasslands and their birds in the southern cone of the continent.

More than 600 species of endemic birds and thousands of migratory birds depend on us!

We are looking for innovative and relevant proposals that allow us to contribute to the conservation of these species and their habitats.

  • Projects should be submitted using this format.
  • In this new call (2024-2025) the call is open to projects with a ceiling of up to US$ 10,000. In addition, a special invitation will be extended to successful projects selected from previous stages.
  • An executive summary of the project will be presented with the selected priority line, objectives, species and key project focus sites.
